Vorton State Variables (Conceptual Interface)

To be testable, vortons must have describable state variables.

This is not a full mathematical formalism — it is a declaration of what must be measurable if the model is to survive.

Proposed State Variables

  1. Torsion Orientation (τ)

    • Direction and handedness of the knot
    • Governs polarity-like behavior
  2. Tension Coupling (σ)

    • Strength of interaction with surrounding AMS
    • Determines resistance to reconfiguration
  3. Slip Capacity (λ)

    • Degree to which the knot can partially reconfigure under stress
    • Governs electrical conduction behavior
  4. Topological Stability Index (Ω)

    • Probability of persistence under perturbation
    • Distinguishes stable matter from radiation-like disturbances
  5. Interaction Radius (ρ)

    • Effective range of influence through AMS geometry

These variables are geometric, not energetic.

Energy appears only as a derived description of state change.
